Boston's rotation has the potential to be ridiculous. All of the starters have the potential to be top 1-2 starters (Besides Wakefield obviously). There is a lot of question marks but the potential is there. It depends on if Beckett bounces back, Matsuzaka transitions to the MLB well and if Papelbon can shift back into the rotation no problem. I know he was a starter before, but he has been in the bullpen the past year.
The bullpen is another story. All they have done is take away from it this offseason so far. And the piece they took away was huge in Papelbon. Unless they get a couple quality arms they will have some trouble, everyone knows how bad it was last year.
