Would it make you feel any better to know that someone who follows current events finds much of the Daily Show's content to be sliding downhill, that it's not indicative of the political nature of the humour, but that many of the bits are similar to those they did 5 or ten (F&$%ing) years ago?

John's settled into a routine of late, and it really hurts the show a lot of the time. Though everyone else complaining might not feel the show has gone downhill so much as blows. However, it's definitely stale.
