Of course having the ability to fuck up other countries makes us cool. It's why we are America! "We'll put a boot in your ass, it's the American way!" not just a lyric, it's how we choose to live as a people. Who cares if your quality of life is better, we can fuck up your quality of life in a half a second. And no one said America was good at building things or making them better, hell our greatest export is McDonalds, and all that does it make people bigger. And sure we own a lot of countries a lot of money, and sure we're several trillion dollars in debt, but it doesn't matter. And do you know why? Becuase we are the United States of America, and we don't give a flying fuck about facts, because we feel we are the best, therefore...we are...
