They should definitely have him do that. Just put him over as a heartless machine.

Next week on SmackDown!, have Chavo Guerrero win a non-title match, when Benoit gets distracted by Vickie Guerrero's injury. The following week, have Benoit lose the United States Championship to Chavo, after Vickie re-affirms her heel status. Benoit then kills Chavo, and puts Vickie in the Crippler Crossface.
