Some notes from watching that video:
1) That Despotovski winner in the semi final against Adelaide City brings back memories.

4) Boutsianis the cunt...absolute dog of a person but fuck what a free kick specialist.
5) Fucking Harnwell with that header at Bob Jane for the 1-1 (around the 4:45 minute mark in that video. That day was pisspouring down but over 12,000 rocked up, had it been a sunny day we would have gotten 15,000+. What a game, Boutsi with the opener then Harnwell with that header. Despotovski copped absolute hell that day!
6) One of my top 3 favourite games EVER with South in the NSL was the Wednesday night 2-1 win over Perth in 1998/99. 1st vs 2nd, midweek fixture, 11,000 crammed into BJS, Perth go 0-1 up and in the second half we score two goals in a minute. ABSOLUTE CHAOS when the goals went in.
7) BRING BACK THE FUCKING NSL!
