Two things about the Mean Street Posse:

1) They weren't a fraternity. They were just preppy white boys who were supposed to be Shane's childhood friends, brought in to teach Andrew "Test" Martin a lesson. Totally different gimmick.

2) The MSP was fucking awesome, so shut the hell up.
