Hogan used to do the same, as 'Hollywood' Hogan in the nWo. Trouble is, much of what Michaels said was actually true. That's the trouble with Hogan. If a heel tells, say, Kurt Angle that he sucks, he gets heat because it is blatantly not true. A heel says the same to Hogan and the fans just can't help agreeing.
If they said Angle was way overrated however, they'd be right.
