It's confirmed on the band website. I'm a huge Van Hagar fan, but my biggest hang up is that Mad Anthony is not part of the line up. I'm actually interested in seeing Roth, as I saw the Roth/Hagar solo tour, saw the Hagar 2004 VH Reunion, and have seen Hagar solo. I want to see how Roth has held up, but I'm more disappointed that after more than 10 studio albums of playing solid basslines and being a distinct background vocal that is as steadfast and necessary as whomever is singing the song, Anthony is no more. He doesn't come across very well on Van Halen albums, but to hear Anthony take his solo in person (or even on DVD) and hear him sing, you know he is an integral part of the rhythm section. I will reserve my judgment on Wolfie's playing abilities, but as a whole I just think the concept of replacing Anthony with another Van Halen is wrong. With that said, I'm still gonna shell out for floor seats.
