Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, Shannon Moore and Gregory Helms apparently formed some kind of Wiggles parody stable when they were just getting started in the business. They were apparently being looked at by WCW to come in, but when the WWE picked up The Hardys, WCW just brought in Helms and Moore, signed Evan Karagias, and hence we got 3 Count. Hardy was the blue Wiggle, Jeff was the purple wiggle (a parallel to the actual Jeff Wiggle), Helms was the red Wiggle, and Moore wore yellow. Matt was actually the leader. Joey Mathews made some appearances with them as a Captain Feathersword parody.

Billy Gunn was meant to get a World Title push after winning the 1999 King of the Ring, but the reason he wasn't pushed as hard as possible is because he was married at the time. Apparently the WWE thought this went against the imagine of "Mr. Ass", and they didn't feel Gunn fully committed to the character.
