Say what you will about Vince Russo as a booker, but the most sensible thing he ever did (and the main reason WWE came back and destroyed WCW) was that he "ripped up the rule book", all the things you just KNEW were going to happen (such as the result of this match here) stopped happening. Whether Russo's booking was bad or good, at least you didn't see it coming most of the time.
