Drafting team gets first shot at a player after their first contract runs out.
The Drafting team can off them 3 amount of money that they can not refuse, kind of like them picking up an option.
Once they offer a tender, other teams can offer that player a contract for any amount. The Drafting team then has a chance to match that offer. If they match they get the player, not matter where he goes. IF they dont match, the team that signed the player away has to pay compensation depending on the level of the 3 tenders they got.
High Tender = First round pick
Middle tender = Pick equal to the one that player was drafted
Low= No Compensation.
