Ric Flair, NWA World Heavyweight Championship, November 26, 1987 to February 20, 1989.

Won it from Ronnie Garvin in a Steel Cage Match at the first NWA Pay Per View StarrCade (Note: it wasn't the first StarrCade event, but it was the first PPV). His fued with Lugar was fantastic. We began to see Sting as a star during Flair unmatched ability to put others over while he was The Man. The Horsemen were riding strong though most of this reign. And it ended with one of the most legendary and talked about matches of all time when he finally dropped the title to Ricky Steamboat. Just an incredible World Title reign, no matter how you measure success.
