I'm not shitting on the man by any means, I've seen him put some decent matches together live myself. Note 'decent', not 'great'. Most Daniels matches tend to consist of one guy hitting his stuff, then the other guy hits his stuff, finish. But this is way too much. Best in the world? Get the fuck out of here, seriously. If he was that good WCW would have signed him a long, long time ago.

The WCW signed him at the end of WCW's run, however Daniels slipped on the ring ropes doing a spring board moonsault and landed on his head. This was sometime around 2000 when he was in his last 20's.
People gush over Daniels because Daniels is a great in ring performer, and quite good on the mic as well. Personally Daniels is one of my 3 favorite wrestlers I have ever seen, but that is my opinion. Don't just throw Daniels in with Punk, Styles, and Joe because people gush over him like that. Daniels is better then all three of those guys. And for the record I like Punk, Styles, and Joe. But it's really a matter of opinion. If you don't think he's worthy of some of the hype, I can't see where you're comming from but you're certianly entitled to that.
