It certainly was lackluster. No real great matches on the card, although Money in the Bank was good, and Cena vs. HBK wasn't horrible. The rest was meh. Like real meh. Cena's entrance was just pathetic. That the WWE still thinks this guy is going to be accepted as the top face of the company makes me chuckle. A heel turn would have been a thing of beauty.
This year's WrestleMania is all about the comeback into mainstream for the WWE, and they were clinging to Donald Trump to do that. I don't think quality is going to get in the way of the WWE going all out with the hype machine.
It will be interesting to see if an underwhelming, sub par product can keep mainstream attention up. My guess is not.
