Explain european soccer to me.
I watched Manchester play Roma(i think) yesterday in Champions League. I thought ManU played in the Premiership League. Also there's like Series A League or something like that. How does that all work? And how many regular season games are played?

I'm guessing, there's a bunch of leagues, and the league winners play the Champions League. AM I off base here?
