Well in interview's that Carlos Bernard did, when they brought up about how he felt about Tony and the way he died, he beat around the bush and eventually changed the subject.
Also, it goes back to the silent clock. When a catastrophic event or big death has happened, they have had a silent clock happen. Teri got one, David Palmer got one, hell even Ryan Chapelle got one. But did Tony get one, one of their biggest, if not main star behind Kiefer? No, he didn't. Which doesn't make any sense.
Going back to the China thing, I don't know whether they will wrap it up this season or not. I suspect that they will considering they will do something new next season and then the 24 movie is due out next summer supposedly.
