The 62 million was from productions costs compared to ticket sales. After ad revenue, and all the merch (action figures, clothes, VHS, CD, video games, stickers, cups, etc.) they actually came out ahead. But it sure is fun to think of WCW as a company that Turner ( a smart business man) would continue to throw 62 million dollars down the drain for no reason and get only greif from the media (which he partially owned) about the evils of pro wrestling. Yeah makes total sense.
