Primarily? Like like having complete access to my music. And the rights that go with it.

Digital music means ownership issues (At least with most music services), and no way to get them back if my MP3 player or computer is damaged (again, with most services).

But in most cases, it boils down to a rights issue for me. For example, iTunes, the number one music store, you don't REALLY own the music. You license it.
