1) What are your feelings going into your final ROH weekend?
Colt Cabana: I've got all kinds of crazy feelings and emotions. I know I'm very excited. I'm excited to wrestle in front of the best and most appreciate wrestling crowd for one last time. I'm also a combination of nervous, scared, happy, constipated and sweaty all in that order. I'm really not sure if I'm looking forward or dreading this upcoming ROH Midwest weekend. I guess I'll just have to take it all in when we get there.
2) Lets look back at your career in ROH, what are some of your favorite matches that you've been involved in?
Cabana: I've had so many great and fond ROH memories. I'll be happy to list off some personal fave's. Maybe these are some of yours too. Of course, my first matches with CM Punk at the Murphy Rec Center and then top that off with when Punk and I became Tag Team Champions in front of our hometown against the Briscoe Brothers. I also have a soft spot in my heart for the time when Bobby Heenan managed me against Jim Cornette for everyone's first time. Wrestling Austin Aries in a cage, my catch-wrestling series with Nigel McGuiness, and standing victorious over Homicide after a brutal fight without honor. Other personal favorites include wrestling the greatest wrestler of our generation, Bryan Danielson, and having fun with my wrestling in singles matches with guys like Kikutaro, Spanky and Jack Evans.
3) What are some of your favorite moments that you were involved with in ROH?
Cabana: I know I wasn't involved in it, but I was in a way. That was being able to watch Samoa Joe wrestle Kenta Kobashi live from the top of the New Yorker. I don't think I'll ever forget watching that match sitting next to James Gibson and being so emotionally invested in it. Having fun with my talk show, "Good Times, Great Memories" was also just a pure blast. When Dusty Rhodes came on "my show", it was pretty surreal to sit there and have Ace goof on Dusty only for him to walk in and cut a promo on my hairline.
4) What do you want your legacy to be in ROH?
Cabana: I just want everyone to remember me as the meanest, toughest, hard-hittingest, stiffest prick in the business. People will tell their kids that they once ran into Colt Cabana at a bar and he beat up their son. "Colt once bent a keg in half", they'll say to their friends. That's how I'd like my legacy to be in ROH....PLEEEEEEASE.
5) What would you like to say to the fans that have watched you in ROH since 2002?
Thanks. Thanks for supporting me. Thanks for supporting ROH. Continue to support me. Continue to support ROH. Have fun enjoying pro wrestling and please don't take what you have in a company like this for granted because just imagine what you'd do if ROH wasn't around...think about it. How much would that suck?
