The WWE Doesn't Really Have Three Brands...
It has three leagues. Like how in baseball, there's the National League and the American League. For the most part, AL teams don't play NL teams except in the World Series. But there are interleague games several times in the year.
It's the same thing with WWE shows, especially now that PPV's are interbrand. SD, RAW, and ECW wrestlers generally don't interact with each other, except on certain special occasions. RAW is like the AL, SD is the NL, and ECW is quadruple-A.
I know this is pretty obvious, but I've never heard anyone put it this way, so I figured I'd just post this (if someone did use the term "league" before, I missed it; apologies). I think if people start looking at the WWE that way, they won't get frustrated that they're not ending the "brand split," because they're not really brands.
