I do agree that the Yankees do need to get some serious changes in their starting rotation. But, I think once they come off the DL they'll be fine. In a way this is good for the Yankees because I'd rather them go on the DL now then June, July, or August of this season. No offense to the Red Sox or anything but it seems like your implying the Red Sox could get farther in the playoffs then the Yankees. Once again no offense to the Red Sox but you guys have some starter problems to. Your starting rotation doesn't have the same problems that are as big as the Yankees and you guys don't have rookies or people who should be relievers starting(Igawa,Karstens, Wright) Our main problem is the relievers in all honesty. But I can't argue with you I know we have our problems with our rotation. And that's why we need to take advantage of trading some of our guys come the All Star Break (I would start off by trading Igawa if he doesn't start having some good games soon. If we could trade a nobody like Shawn Chacon then Igawa should be easier.) And that's why the Yankees need to do their best to get Clemens. Right now I'm just concerned about getting to the Post season.
About Hughes though I think it's to early to bring him up I say we should let him have one game. He's gonna be better then Igawa, Karstens, and Wright, that's for sure.
