He only lost at the end when Tommy Dreamer did a run in and cost him the match.

Could be wrong, but if my memory serves me correct it wasn't a massacre, but a decent match with the WWF champion going over the ECW champion in a contreversial finish. Again, if it transpired differently refresh my memory but as far as I remember it wasn't as bad as people make it out to be.
