People who know good music vote GnR, people who don't know what they're on about, vote Metallica. Unfortunately, it seems most people don't know what they're on about.
Anyway, regardless of what this poll says, GnR made great music that will never be forgotten, Metallica have just been around for longer so people are more likely to vote for them based on that.
