This could be a blessing in disguise for Mr. Kennedy. I mean, really, it was not the right time to put the World Heavyweight Championship on him. The Royal Rumble would have been better. An edition of SmackDown!? Mmm. I'd rather wait. At least now the WWE has no chance of fucking it up.

Kennedy should still appear on TV, reminding us he has the briefcase, and that this injury is God's way of telling him he should wait to cash in the title shot. I never thought of him being a colour commentator. Those were the good old days, when colour commentary positions weren't always tied down, so an injured guy could jump into the seat for a bit. I know he's a SmackDown! guy, but they should have him replace Jerry Lawler for a little bit on RAW. Or fuck, have him temporarily fill the General Manager position on RAW or ECW, because they've been vacant for the longest period of time.

Batista winning his third World Title on SmackDown! was always the way they should have gone, in my opinion. Batista should not, and will not, get a long run with the belt, but it is the right thing to do at the current time.
