That I'm more interested in the dark match prior to the show than 80% of the show is probably not a good sign. Sounds like Johnny Jeter has gotten himself back into shape. He reminds me a lot of Chris Jericho, so here's hoping he can get a good push when he returns. I would not oppose him being used in the cruiserweight division.

Speaking of which, it seems like London & Kendrick may be inserted into it. I think Kidman must be referring to either London or Kendrick, but whoever it was should logically get a title shot. I'm sensing a Cruiserweight Open Invitational at Vengeance. Toss Shannon Moore, Funaki, Little Guido, Johnny Nitro and Carlito in with those guys, and you'd have a good match with plenty of heat.

The Handicap Match really makes no sense. I was hoping to see The Hardys challenge Deuce N' Domino for the WWE Tag Team Championship, just to give Matt and Jeff the last possible chance they may receive to go for tag team gold. I might have even gone as far to have put the Titles on them. The logical outcome of this Handicap Match is for Jeff to get drafted to SmackDown!, and for The Hardys to challenge D&D for the WWE Tag Team Championship, so I guess we could see my suggestion take place, anyway.

For once, I agree with BDC on the Batista situation. He just lost to Edge cleanly. There isn't even a real gray area. I hope they move him to RAW, and then have someone else fill the slot against Edge. They probably should have given Chris Benoit the win over Edge, then have Batista drafted, and then insert Benoit. But yeah, I dunno, it won't happen. We'll get bland Edge vs. Batista, again. Another reason not to care about WWE. I do like that they only had MVP lose to Batista via disqualification, though.

So here is how things are looking for Night of Champions:

World Heavyweight Championship
Edge vs. Batista

World Tag Team Championship
Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch vs. Cryme Tyme vs. The World's Greatest Tag Team

WWE Tag Team Championship
Deuce N' Domino vs. The Hardys

WWE Cruiserweight Championship
Chavo Guerrero vs. Paul London vs. Brian Kendrick vs. Jimmy Wang Yang vs. Daivari vs. Jamie Noble

WWE Women's Championship
Melina vs. Candice Michelle
