I think MMA guys will make more and more but I imagine it is going to peak eventually just like Boxing did, there just isn't a big enough sustainable market for fighting for more than a few guys to make huge money imo. Boxing has only been a worldwide megasport in regards to very specific fighters and generally the heavyweight division. Fact is, casual fans don't care about technical skills, which is why the Mayweather/DeLaHoya fight will have done very little to address boxing's decline, MMA is the same, it has its exciting fights and its megastars, but it also has a lot of grappling and lets face it, average Joe hates grappling.
