If it was me, I'd defend myself by saying "One of my mates phoned up and said that there was a party" at said address and then deny the internet conversation and say it was a mate mucking about.
You wouldn't think there would be much evidence against him unless they had a set of matching I.P address.
I don't even know the guy anyway past knowing that he is the owner of RoH so
