Then when they killed Maude Flanders on the Simpsons, they made it a JOKE!!! Sickeningly disrespectful. Same with Seinfeld and George's fiancee.
And don't even get me started with Optimus Prime!!! I swear I'm so mad I'm going to start a leaflet campaign!
Disclaimer: If you haven't caught my sarcasm, it's probably because you're really that highstrung that you were upset that a scripted show would dare kill off a character, and then not start every show with a disclaimer that the death wasn't real.
