(By the way, I am going to no-sell the bombing, because when Vince does so in a few weeks, it will look like he got it off me, so then I can see at least one of my ideas come to fruition on WWE TV.)

I would prefer to see Val Venis, Paul London, Brian Kendrick and Doug Basham reach success as separate (save for London & Kendrick) entities, but if I'm going to turn them into a stable, this is how I would do it:

On the special three-hour edition of RAW, to remember Vincent Kennedy McMahon's life, Val Venis cuts a promo from a booth, where he talks about how he chose Vince's WWE over WCW, despite Ted Turner offering him more money, and how he has Vince to thank for this job, and for providing Venis with a means to support his wife and daughter. Venis leaves the studio a little teary-eyed, and bumps into Stone Cold Steve Austin. Austin stops Val from walking on, and reminds him that when Eric Bischoff fired him, it wasn't Vince who fired Val back, it was Stone Cold Steve Austin. Val thanks Austin, and says that is the reason he shaves his head bald these days, as a tribute to Austin. Stone Cold calls Val ridiculous, and says it would be a better tribute to Steve if Val actually went to that ring, raised Hell like he could, and offered what Stone Cold knew he could offer to the WWE, and to stop being such a corporate man. Val tells Austin to get out of his way. Steve actually obliges, backing down from Venis.

Val Venis makes his way to the ring for a RAW match, and Stone Cold Steve Austin appears on the titantron. He does a little comedy routine where he talks about Vince for a bit, and pretends to weep, and then just cuts the crap and says he's not going to talk about Vince, because he's gone, and judging by the way he went, this son of a bitch actually deserved it. Austin instead focuses his attention to Venis, who is standing in the ring still. Austin says he talked to Jonathan Coachman, and got this match made for Val to show the RAW fans what he is really made of.

Snitsky's theme music hits, and Venis is none too happy. JR and King give Val no chance of winning. To JR's surprise, Val actually gets off to a strong start against Snitsky, but Snitsky powers Val down, and controls most of the match. Snitsky places Val on the top rope for a superplex, but Venis manages to fight out with elbows, and Snitsky falls off the second rope, his throat hitting the top rope, forcing Snitsky back down to the canvas in perfect position for...The Money Shot! Venis connects, and gets the cover...1-2-3! Venis gets out of the ring without much surprise or celebration. Snitsky goes ape-shit in the ring, and then decides to take his rage out on Jerry Lawler. This can give us JBL for the rest of the show, or something. It could be a way to write off Jerry Lawler until this assault thing dies down.

This is going to look like I am copying WWKD's idea (which was great), but I honestly had a similar one, and it is a damn fine one, if you ask me.

Also on the three-hour show, Shane McMahon comes out with Stephanie, and the two call out Paul London to the ring. London makes his way down with Brian Kendrick, and Stephanie asks London why he was smiling when her father was walking to his limousine. She accuses him of being behind her father's attack. Paul London snatches away her microphone, and tells her that he knew nothing about what happened to "Vince." If he did, he wouldn't have been smiling. He would have been holding his sides from laughter. Stephanie almost breaks down into tears, and Shane just looks shocked. Paul says that he never liked Vince McMahon. When he arrived in the WWE, Vince put him in a match against a man twice his size, just because Paul tried to introduce himself. London calls what happened to Vince "karma," and that it shouldn't be mourned. Rather celebrated, because a bad thing happened to a bad person for once.

Shane McMahon steps in front of his sister a little, and asks London who the Hell he thinks he is? He asks Brian Kendrick what he is going to do to shut his partner up, because Kendrick has a choice to make here. He can side with the McMahon family, or he can side with Paul London. Brian Kendrick chews on his thoughts for a while, and London asks Brian if he is seriously considering selling out Paul for the "Silver Spoon Shit" and the "Billion Dollar Cum Guzzler." In what I think would be a nice touch, Stephanie actually looks more horrified at being called a name than someone finding pleasure in Vince's death. Brian Kendrick gets the mic off London, and tells Shane that he's walked out of the WWE before, and if Shane gives him any trouble for sticking with his tag team partner, he will do it again. Shane McMahon tries to regain his composure, and books Paul London & Brian Kendrick in a 3-on-2 Handicap Match against a unit his father created...ECW's New Breed.

Later that night, Paul London & Brian Kendrick face off against Elijah Burke, Marcus Cor Von and Matt Striker (I think Striker is still officially with them), and London & Kendrick actually hold their own for a while, isolating Matt Striker for a bit. Eventually the babyfaces are overwhelmed, however, and the heels get control of Brian Kendrick. Spanky makes the tag to London, and he cleans house, but eventually Cor Von brings Kendrick back in, and hits him with The Pounce to get the pin. The New Breed go to the back to lick their wounds under the advice of Burke (who took most of London's offence), with Cor Von being the only one who really wants to stay and finish the job, so London & Kendrick are able to get to their feet and have the dignity of being able to stand after the war. Snitsky and Umaga suddenly appear out of nowhere, and begins tossing around the exhausted London & Kendrick like rag dolls, however. Shane McMahon appears on the stage smiling at the mandhandling of L&K.

On ECW, the show opens with the new ECW World Champion issuing an open challenge (as announced on RAW) for the ECW World Championship. A masked entity accepts the challenge, and he wants to be known as "Enigma." Benoit looks confused by the whole thing, and the two work a pretty good match. Enigma actually takes Chris Benoit to a twenty-minute draw. Benoit wants to know who Enigma is, and demands he reveals himself, but Enigma withholds his identity.

The following week on RAW, Paul London & Brian Kendrick approach Val Venis about how to defeat Snitsky. Venis claims that his victory last week was just a fluke, and the reason he went over was nothing but luck. JR and whoever RAW's colour commentator are get confused by this, and JR says that Val should take credit for his just win over Snitsky, and the colour guy says "how" doesn't matter, all that matters is that Venis won.

Val Venis faces William Regal in a match early in the evening, and the two work a good match, as to be expected of them. Val Venis picks up the clean win with The Money Shot.

Later in the evening, Snitsky and Umaga are teaming up to take on Snitsky and Umaga. Mick Foley and Santino Marella (who still have program with Umaga, they lost to Umaga and William Regal on the three-hour RAW) run out and attack Umaga and Snitsky, after they have tossed London & Kendrick around for a bit (albeit, not in a complete squash, of course). This gives Umaga and Snitsky the disqualification win. The heels manage to battle back, however, and Snitsky puts Foley down, as Umaga takes care of Santino Marella. London & Kendrick are then tossed around for a bit more.

On ECW that week, Chris Benoit faces Enigma in the main event, in a match with no time limits for the ECW World Championship. Benoit manages to get the submission victory with the Crippler Crossface. And he again asks Enigma to reveal himself, now that he is out of the immediate ECW Title picture. Enigma still denies Benoit this request.

On RAW the following week, Mick Foley is seen talking to Paul London & Brian Kendrick about Val Venis. They are discussing just what is up with him, and how he managed to defeat Snitsky. Foley talks about how he has been defeated by Val Venis multiple times, and that it really doesn't surprise Foley that Val defeated Snitsky.

Val Venis faces Snitsky in a rematch that night, with Snitsky taking his frustration with Val out of him. Snitsky gets himself disqualified, and he puts Venis in a position where Snitsky could "end his career." Maybe the old Snitsky "chair around the neck, followed by the flying stomp from the second rope' spot? Paul London & Brian Kendrick run out, and they attack Snitsky, and save Val from certain demise. London & Kendrick want Val to stay in the ring and answer their questions, but Val just gives them a bit of a handshake each, or a slap on the shoulder, and leaves.

On ECW that week, Enigma faces Chris Benoit in a non-title match, at Benoit's request. The finish sees Benoit get Enigma in the Crippler Crossface, but he then goes to try and pull off the mask, which allows Enigma the time to counter Benoit's Crossface in a roll-up for the clean pin on the ECW World Champion.

RAW the following week sees Mick Foley approach London & Kendrick with an answer to their question. He is going to answer their questions when he is a special guest on Sheik Productions later that night. The time comes for The Iron Sheik's show, and Foley comes out. and reveals he's done a little snooping, and he believes that at some point after Val Venis returned post-WCW/ECW Invasion, Vince McMahon paid Val Venis to deliberately throw matches, to kind of enhance his pet protoge. Val Venis comes out, and asks Mick to stay out of his business. He doesn't sound too heelish dong it, but rather he actually pleads. Mick asks Val if he can deny any of it. Val doesn't deny anything. The Sheik mumbles something, and no one can understand him. Venis then says that he did throw matches for Vince, but he wanted to keep his wife happy with his travel schedule. Val says he feels bad, because he feels like he's let the fans down, by not really putting 100% into his matches.

Foley tells Val that Vince is gone, so now Val can be the Superstar he was meant to be, and no one can hold him back, and he should not feel bad about that. Mick also introduces Val to two kids who have really started to admire Val. Paul London & Brian Kendrick make their entrance, and Paul London reminds Val that he doesn't like Vince McMahon either, and that he handicapped Paul and Brian by putting a ban on some of their moves. Val agrees to take Paul & Brian under his wing, and to start a new regime welcoming the new era of a Vince-less WWE.

ECW sees Benoit confirm that he will defend the ECW World Title against Enigma at The Great American Bash in a Steel Cage Match, where if Benoit wins, Enigma will be forced to reveal himself to the world. The match sees Benoit go over, and Enigma is forced to reveal himself. The man pulls off his mask, and no one has a clue who he is.

The RAW afterwards, he appears with Val Venis, Paul London & Brian Kendrick, and reveals that the reason he competed in a mask was because he wasn't signed to World Wrestling Entertainment anymore, and because when he competed in Vince's WWE, he was also told to tone down his style, and lose matches he could have won. He reminds everyone that he is Doug Basham, and that Vince was so damn cocky, he gave Doug Basham his bonus paycheck for throwing matches on the air, by making him appear to be getting paid for being JBL's lackey. He reveals that he is now back in World Wrestling Entertainment because of his great showings with Benoit, and that he has now been assigned to the RAW brand.

So in the end, the stable looks like:

Val Venis: Leader
Doug Basham: Mid-card representative
Paul London: Tag team guy
Brian Kendrick: Tag team guy
Mick Foley: Friendly associate

It wasn't as epic as I thought it would be, and I kind of got caught up in establishing the guys separately, and then had a weak way of connecting them, but ah well.
