First saw Chris Benoit in WCW way back in the late 1990's and since then he has been my favourite wrestler. Its hard for me to fully explain myself since I stopped watching wrestling around 4 years ago, but if I was ever flicking channels I would only stop to see him on screen, or if I fancied a trip down memory lane via youtube, his matches were the ones I would recall.
I thought he was a true perfectionist and you could tell from his character, matches and news you would read about him he was a true sportsman who had a lot of respect for himself, his friends, the business as well as a true family man.
Today, I and a million others lose a childhood hero.
