Benoit, simply put, is the reason I was still watching wrestling. Even through all the crap the E has put out over the year and what wrestling in general gives us, I always felt safe knowing that somewhere they have Benoit. Benoit, anytime he's in that ring, you know he gives it all and busts his ass to put on a hell of a show. I followed through WCW and WWE, him and Jericho were my favs through the later years that I'm happy I got to see both live when they were carrying their world championships. I've always been a fan of the Dungeon graduates, so it just happened.
Despite everything that has just occurred and what's been said, I still respect the man for his career. There will seriously never be another Chris Benoit. All those who got to know him and who got to work and learned from him, they all know that now.
Chris, thank you for everything. Thank you.
