I do hope he rests in peace, and I'm deeply saddened by the loss of him. But the whole thing with the family and the probable murder of a seven year old by someone I viewed as "the man" is whats really irking me here.

Exactly, that is also what is bothering me so much. The fact that he would actually murder his wife and 7 year old child. Makes me sick if true.
