Moist is broken up and David Usher is pursuing a solo career, although the bassist, keyboardist and drummer from Moist are in his travelling band. I just saw them last Friday in Toronto. The difference between Moist's music and David's solo stuff is that David wrote all of it and produced it, whereas with Moist it was a joint process. Anyways, Moist was a band from Toronto who enjoyed mostly success in Canada. I think they minorly broke out in the U.S. with their third album, because the first single was on the soundtrack for Stir of Echoes.
Moist has 3 albums and a greatest hits collection. I'll give you some songs if you want to check them out:
Silver (1994)
Silver
Push
Believe Me
Machine Punch Through
Creature (1997)
Gasoline
Tangerine
Ophelia
Resurrection
Creature
Mercedes Five and Dime (1999)
Underground
Breathe
Mike Hammer
Place
Jesse's Girl
Fish
Their greatest hits came out in 2001 but they announced their breakup only about 2 months ago. As you can probably tell, I've been a fan of them for a long time. I don't know but maybe you can order their CDs off of a Canadian music distribution website. Maybe try
www.hmv.ca and see if they do international orders.
