2) Kane is named World Heavyweight Champion, and The Great Khali vs. Batista match is dissolved into it, and we get the Triple Threat with Kane retaining.
3) The belt was held vacant, and we get the Battle Royal at The Great American Bash for the belt, or just do the Triple Threat Match with SmackDown!'s confirmed GAB contigency, with Kane picking up the win and the vacant World Heavyweight Championship.
Also, The Great Khali is not likely to lose the World Heavyweight Title at The Bash. The most likely outcome is that Khali will pin Kane, and Batista will then claim he was not pinned, leading to him getting another unfounded title shot, where he might actually have a chance at beating Khali. In fact, I think a Batista win at Summerslam is damn likely at this point.
It's sad, because the World Heavyweight Title match is being booked like the Women's Division. The worst wrestler will win.

4) Draft Val Venis from RAW to Smackdown and have him win the battle royal and become new World Heavyweight Champion, and complete his Grand Slam.
