In the UK, it's cheaper to buy Wii Points direct in the Wii Shop, but if you have to buy points cards, then you buy them from the store, scratch the back off, and enter a code, like an old style mobile phone top up.

They also come in their own Wii Case which makes a nice replacement if you break one of yours.
