And let's not forget here, Andre was Champion for all of a couple minutes. Andre more than anything proved to be an incredible, "Oh man, I gotta go see Andre!" side attraction. And Khali, pre-World Champion run was starting to get a strange little cunt fallowing because he was fun, and as a side story goes, he could be that random big guy who growls and screams jibberish. As a World Champion, he is measured against other World Champions and is by all rights considered the brands main focus and biggest draw...and while Andre in the 70's and 80's proved he could be the biggest draw WITHOUT the title, Khali, with the Championship, is a terrible bland non-drawing champion who receives next to nothing as far as crowd reaction. No heel heat, no face heat, NOTHING. You want to compare them, Khali is taller, Khali does about as much as tail end of his career Andre did in the ring, but you're forgetting the world of wrestling can not be measured in stats.
