Doesn't Stephanie have more backstage power than Shane?
I'd figure she'd be running the "wrestling" aspect of the business after Vince and Linda step down and Shane would be running the rest.
Or HHH and Steph would buy out Shane's part and HHH wouldn't have to give Vince anymore blowjobs.
