This is one of those stories that will just never die. It will always be discussed and debated. I think both sides were right and wrong. There is no clear cut answer to this debacle. Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels will always be linked to each other. They carried the wwe at a time when wrestling was in a huge slump. They werent handed the ball, they took it because no one else wanted it. I quite honestly believe they needed each other. Would either of them be regarded as highly as they are if they didnt have the other to feed off of? Im not saying they wouldnt be hall of famers, but would their names come up as often as they do? Almost every match they ever had together is classic. They always tore it up. I have always been a fan of both, and always will. I cant wait for Michaels to return so there can be quality matches on raw again. The fact is they are two of the greatest to ever put on a pair of boots. Their careers will always be linked. Which i believe they should be. We should forget the Montreal Screwjob and just carry on. Its been 10 fucking years. Let it go.
