That would make sense. I always wondered why the WWE did that with Cena.

Having said that, I still think..

A) Smackdown is destined to be doomed no matter (since all/most of the emerging talent on Smackdown ending up being shipped to RAW).

B) If the WWE weren't so "anal" as to who should be 'face' and 'heel' and instead focused on CHARACTER MAXIMIZATION, ratings would still be almost as high as they were between 98-00 (yes folks..you read that right).

C) The existence of ECW hurts the depth of both Smackdown and RAW. What's the point of giving CM Punk a "huge push!" on ECW when hardly anyone ever watches?


I haven't made a "Lets re-unite the WWE rosters" post since 2004......but man.....I'm so fuckin' tempted right now.
