A Mario Bros. movie done in line with the games would make my head hurt. Though I'm honestly surprised it hasn't been attempted.
On a different note, I'd like to see someone do a really good King Arthur movie. No fucking around with the legend and making him Roman or some other stupid crap; just a solid adaptation of
The Once and Future King or
Morte d'Arthur would be nice.
