The other day a baby was sitting next to me and it wouldn't stop crying, a small child tried endlessly to get his mom's attention by repeating "Mom. Mom. Mom. Mom." over and over again, a cat was being strangled to death, fire alarms were going off, they were running a test of the Emergency Broadcast System, a little ways down the street a construction crew was building a new condo, and there was even a Kanye West cd playing...and all I could do was think about how lucky I was that Don West wasn't there to commentate it.
