Oh yeah, Kensei could be related to Claire, or anyone just based on having powers. I just don't think he has to be related to Claire just because he can heal himself (which a decent amount of people on IMDB seem to think.)
You know what I really want to know? Does the Hatian have to actively think to make other's powers null, or does it happen automatically? Because the show makes it look both ways sometimes.
