Also, Samoa Joe going over Christian Cage was the right move. It was their version of WrestleMania; there was no better time for Cage to lose his streak. They need to put Joe over as strong, to make out for his poor booking over the past few months, which has let a lot of people down, and getting him to go over Cage in their feud was smart.
I don't know how exactly the match turned out, but if TNA were smart, they'd have had tension spawn between Matt Morgan and Christian Cage from it, and have a feud develop between them out of this, with Morgan then going on to be the first man to pin Christian Cage in a match without interference of any kind. Actually, according to TNA, he'd be the first guy to pin Christian Cage since he's been in TNA.
Cage doesn't need to be protected, he is awesome enough to survive a few losses.
