I started watching when I was like 4/5, around 89/90. So the best memories I have are marking out like fuck for Hogan when I was little, and even more so for pretty much anything in the attitude era when I was a teenager.
That shit made a great deal of my childhood because it was so good and all my friends watched it too. I can still talk about the attitude era to people who don't watch any more, and these people will still play the newer smackdown games when they come over, as long as they play as The Rock, Austin, Undertaker etc. Because its the great stuff they remember.
If friends who used to watch it come over when I watch now, they'll ask what the hell happened to it, because it used to be so awesome in like 98-2000 when they watched it.
I totally agree with Vegas. To me, 97-01 completly owns the stuff from the 80s to me. If I dig out the Wrestlemania Anthology, its usually the late 90's ones I'll put on. It was good shit.
