Jeff Hardy winning the title would be an okay thing. Jeff Hardy BEING champion, defending the title, that would suck. It would be like if Rey Mysterio ever became World Champion. It would be a sort of novel thing that people loved when it happened, but it would soon become clear that he just isn't capable of it, it would shatter the suspension of disbelief, and nobody would take it seriously. Thank God they've never done that.
