First of all, I believe there would be some truth to Carlito's attitude problems, but it's not like the guy doesn't turn up for work and has bad matches. I personally think the guy has the right to be pissed off. Who the fuck knows if he believes he is owed something? Reports came up that Carlito was first unmotivated when he was playing a shitty bland babyface. He just preferred the heel role.

Oh, and he originally didn't want to be a wrestler, but his dad encouraged him. So it wasn't his first preference for a career? Mr. Kennedy is a trained actor, John Cena used to be a bodybuilder, as did Batista.

Personally, I think Carlito is underused, and the move to TNA will do him good, because he is exactly the kind of talent that they need. He's able to move around the ring well, with the lucha stuff, he's able to talk, and he's flirted with the main event scene before in the WWE (so a push in TNA won't look out of place).

Assuming Carlito did go to TNA, I think he would be a similar acquistion to Christian Cage. Carlito Colon was misused, underused and treated fairly badly at points during his WWE run, and they did the most they could do to squash his heat. In TNA, he would be able to bring out the qualities he wants, whilst not having a glass ceiling to battle.

As for whether or not he could get motivated in TNA? I personally think he would, just to try and stick it to the WWE. Motivation comes from different places, and who knows, maybe Carlito will push himself and become the next "Stone Cold Steve Austin," in the sense that he gets shit from one employer, and then jumps to others and proves he can do what he does well.
