Zen - can I ask you a serious question:

Are you related to Bret in real life? (I guess if you were, you wouldn't admit it on here anyways, but I was just curious).

I guess I'm having a difficult time comprehending why some people STILL feel so passionate and angry over the Montreal Screwjob....an even that took place over 10 years ago.

What saddens me the most about Bret, is how he consistently attacks HBK whenever the subject of Montreal is brought up. In effect, Bret goes down to HBK's level. Compare this with Mick Foley and how he dealt with Flair. Or how Triple H dealt with Goldberg a few years ago at an autograph signing.

From my view point, Bret has had NUMEROUS chances to prove that he is the bigger man than HBK. Unfortunately however, Bret has squandered all of those opportunities....by constanty "going down" to the level of HBK, Flair etc. when they take pot-shots at him (and responding in equal child-like fashion). In the end, HBK comes across as a man who has changed for the better (and admits to his past problems). Bret on the other hand, comes across as a guy who is still bitter about the past (even if it's not as bad as people like me think).

As a proud Canadian citizen, it pains me to say this, but I do think HBK is the bigger man than Bret at this point in their lives.
