I remember when Diamond Dallas Page was cutting those promos about being a new him, which eventually led to his "It's a good thing!" gimmick, and a poster here saying they expected the camera to go move downwards, and reveal that DDP had breasts.
Seriously, though. Has the WWE ever done something as drastic as the change you jokingly proposed for The Undertaker? If Taker came out, claimed he was now a raging homosexual (or a woman), and started getting enjoyment out of the "69er Piledriver", and even won the Women's Championship if they claim he was the later, what would the reaction be? People would be pissed, think it is ridiculous, no doubt, but I think good could potentially come out of it. I'd watch if I heard The Undertaker had changed his name and was now sexually confused - or "finally himself", depending on whether or not you believe his character
- just for the sheer stupidness of it all.
It'd be very similar to that episode of Futurama when Bender joined Ultimate Robot Fighting, and went from being a hero to becoming the "Gender Bender" overnight. I demand a "Gender Bender" character for The Undertaker.
