I just think realistically, creatively, and quality wise Jeff Hardy participating in an elimination chamber is far better. Same goes for Raw. It just makes more sense. Like I said, it's mainly because of how thin Smackdowns roster is. It can't fill an elimination chamber without resorting to...garbage like Khali, or illogical picks (given current or forseeable circumstances) like Chavo.

On Raw, assuming that Orton and say..HHH are fueding for the title, you'd still be able to have the elimination chamber consist of Jeff Hardy/HBK/Jericho/Kennedy/JBL/Umaga

You make a good point that I was actually considering while writing my earlier posts, about Test Holly and Masters being in elimination chambers. You're right really. They're not much better than Chavo. Except that in the first twos cases they were tops on their brand, as shitty as that is, and it was exclusive to that brand. At the time Masters was being pushed.
CM Punk and Orton were far more logical picks than Chavo, but yea.

With that being said, that's why I think it's important to have a strong list of guys in this chamber. The last elimination chamber was a catastrophe. They need to restore it's credibility really. The first 2 or 3 elimination chambers were pretty elite. The last 2 were a stretch to say the least.

Also, theres nothing to say it can't be split brand. Just because it's for the shot at the other title doesn't mean it has to be all guys from that show.
It could easily be something like...
Hardy/Jericho/HBK/Kennedy/Batista/Rey
I agree that the Chamber needs to be re-established. I guess credibility is in the eye of the beholder. I think Chavo's series with CM Punk and Rey Mysterio, his experience within the industry and last name lend him far more credibility than Chris Masters. This is coming from someone that sorta liked Masters.

I think the way things are going, we're going to see The Undertaker win the Royal Rumble, and Jeff Hardy win the WWE Championship. They'll tease Jeff Hardy vs. The Undertaker, and a lot of Hardy's face momentum will be ruined because the fans will flock to The Undertaker, but then Taker will choose SmackDown! after all, and Jeff Hardy will be left with a contender decided in the Elimination Chamber.

Triple H will probably get the No Way Out title shot against Hardy, stemming from their Armageddon match, with Triple H asking Hardy if he really thinks he can do it again. This will leave Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels, Mr. Kennedy, Chris Jericho, JBL and Umaga for the Elimination Chamber. Given those options, I think the outcome will either be Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels or Triple H vs. Mr. Kennedy (I'm sure I saw rumours of this a while ago) at WrestleMania.
