If Longoria can come into spring training and lands the 3b job, and live up to his .300 25 HR potential, allowin them to move Iwamura to 2nd and maybe Upton to the outfield, they can be a really surprising team. I don't think they are ready to compete for 2nd place yet though. I actually think they've got a pretty solid team going into next year but just not enough to compete yet. They have Kazmir, Shields and Garza, which is a pretty solid top of the order and they have big pitching prospects in Price, McGee, etc... coming up. The big thing is whether guys like Kazmir, Crawford, etc... will be around when these other guys come up.
